Lessons Learned About

All You Need to Know About My Streaming Adventures.

I havent entered any new thing in my journal in the recent past. Looking at my encounters on YouTube and also in Twitch, I realize that the turn of events has been interesting. If you had a chance to go through my original entry, you can attest to how tough it has been for me. The equipment cost a small fortune. However, what was more nerve-racking was having to talk to myself on camera and playing MTG. There is a time I didnt know whether to keep doing it or not. Not seeing any returns for the work I was doing did not make things better. But you can also understand the expenses that come with MTG. It costs $8 for a single 5-match league. I was paying much more than that. I was using a rental service for thirty-five dollars per month so that I didnt have to buy digital cards. This was draining financially. Even I knew I was doing well, I didnt know how to proceed. While this was happening, I was flying solo. Even so, fresh ideas were coming to me when I established this website. I had set my eyes on the bigger prize.

My goal was to come up with a nerd culture website. A stream would be awesome but I figured few people will be interested in watching just a single game. This is what started the idea of other games. However, this could not be done without securing a new computer. Given that I was creating niche websites before, the process of creating content for my new website was not all that new. Even so, I was eager to reach higher heights. I was on the lane to come up with the next big thing after Gizmodo. However, I would have to go with video content and not just article content. To reach a large audience, I had to promote my content on social channels. It was too much work for just a single person but everything I had done before was leading to that point. Therefore, it wasnt that difficult for me to push ahead. I put up the site and planned the content. I started a Twitter account too and these are the things which held my attention.

I talked to Jon, one of my friends. I was interested in doing a podcast that would address things related to the site. Jon was ready to be the co-host. This is the first person to help me with content creation. I started on YouTube though instead of having an actual podcast.
